Known for his quick reflexes and tactical intelligence, Chingotto has become a significant figure in the world of Padel. His journey began at a young age, and his passion for the sport quickly translated into remarkable skill.
Federico Chingotto's career took off as he partnered with Juan Tello, forming one of the most successful pairs on the World Padel Tour (WPT). Their partnership, lasting over half a decade, saw them consistently rank among the top teams globally. Chingotto, affectionately nicknamed "El Ratón" (The Mouse), is celebrated for his agility and precise court movements, making him a formidable opponent. Currently, he partners with Ale Galán, and together they continue to achieve great success on the tour.
Born in Olavarría, Buenos Aires, Federico began playing Padel as a child but turned professional at 14. His early years were marked by significant achievements, including becoming the number one player in Argentina and an official member of the Argentine national team in the under-16 and under-18 categories. His partnership with Tello began in 2016, and together they moved to Spain to compete in the world’s top tournaments.
Renowned for his dynamic playing style, characterized by his agility, quick reflexes, and strategic intelligence, he excels in defensive play, frequently turning seemingly lost points into opportunities with his swift movements and accurate lobs.
Despite the challenges of adapting to a new country, Chingotto's determination paid off. By 2017, they were making headlines, reaching the semifinals of the Valladolid Open and the Alicante Open. In 2020, they reached their first final, and later that year, they won the Open de las Rozas, marking their first WPT title.
Federico Chingotto's partnership with Ale Galán is formidable on the World Padel Tour. Combining Chingotto's defensive skills and strategic play with Galán's offensive power and agility, they achieve significant victories. Their complementary styles, marked by Chingotto's precise shots and Galán's aggressive net play, result in a balanced and highly effective pair, consistently securing top rankings.

Federico Chingotto has an impressive list of accomplishments on the World Padel Tour. In 2016, he won the Montearlo Open with Juan Tello. The duo continued their success, claiming victory at the Valencia Open in 2019, and later that year, they triumphed at the Master of Portugal. In 2020, they secured another significant win at the Open de las Rozas.
Chingotto's winning streak continued with a victory at the Sardegna tournament in 2023. More recently, in 2024, he has achieved multiple championships, including the Italy Premier Padel with Ale Galán, the Mar Del Plata Premier Padel P1, the Sevilla Premier Padel P2, and the Lotto Brussels P2.
As of today, Federico Chingotto is ranked 4th in the world, boasting a total of 10,279 points. His continuous dedication and exceptional performance on the court have earned him this top position in the global rankings.
