Arturo Coello was born on March 8, 2002, in Mojados, Valladolid, Spain. From a young age, he displayed a strong passion for sports, with Padel becoming his main focus at the age of 8. Encouraged by his family and local coaches, Arturo's talent became evident as he quickly ascended the ranks in junior competitions. Standing at an impressive height of 1.90 meters, his physical presence and reach have been significant assets on the court, allowing him to excel in his preferred right-hand position.
Arturo Coello made his debut on the official circuit in 2019 at just 17 years old. Early on, he partnered with players like Pincho Fernández, Fran RamÃrez, and Guga Vázquez. However, it was his partnership with Iván RamÃrez that drew significant attention, as they became a formidable duo in the final rounds of that season. His frequent appearances in the round of 16 highlighted his dynamic presence and energy, catching the eye of both fans and sports experts.
In the 2021 season, during a significant reshuffle in the professional circuit, Fernando BelasteguÃn, the greatest player in Padel history, saw immense potential in Coello. BelasteguÃn's mentorship provided Coello with the perfect opportunity to refine his skills and elevate his game. This partnership not only benefited Coello but also allowed BelasteguÃn to continue enhancing his illustrious career.
Currently, Arturo Coello is partnered with AgustÃn Tapia, forming a duo of young talents determined to conquer the sport. This partnership has elevated their game to new heights. In 2023, they won five World Padel Tour tournaments in Abu Dhabi, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Spain, marking a strong start to what could become the legend of this dynamic pair. Their exceptional synergy and potential for future success continue to be showcased on the court.
