Di Nenno's strategic acumen and technical skills set him apart in the sport.
Martín Di Nenno was born on March 18, 1997, in Ezeiza, Argentina. Growing up in a family of athletes, Martín began playing padel at a young age. By the age of ten, he was already a standout player, teaming up with Franco Stupaczuk, with whom he formed the iconic duo known as "Los Superpibes" (the super kids). Together, they dominated the national scene and soon began making waves internationally.
In January 2016, just a year after joining the professional circuit, Martín's life took a tragic turn. While traveling with friends, including fellow Padel prodigy Elias Estrella, they were involved in a severe car accident. Martín was the sole survivor but suffered devastating injuries, including fractures in both legs. Despite doctors' pessimistic outlooks, Martín's determination saw him through an arduous recovery process
Against all odds, Martín returned to the World Padel Tour (WPT), though initially struggling to find a stable partner. His perseverance paid off when he teamed up with Maxi Sanchez in 2020, breaking into the top eight pairs in the world. This partnership paved the way for further success.
In 2021, Martín partnered with Paquito Navarro, and the pair enjoyed significant success, winning two Masters (Barcelona and Buenos Aires) and an Open in Cordoba. After parting ways in 2022, Martín reunited with Franco Stupaczuk, rekindling the magic of "Los Superpibes." Their 2023 season was spectacular, finishing as runners-up behind the dominant pair of Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia.
Di Nenno is celebrated for his ability to remain calm under pressure, often turning games around with his precise shots and excellent court coverage.
